What to expect in July?
The NHL’s draft picks The 2018 NHL Draft is coming up, and with that comes plenty of intrigue.
With teams getting serious about the draft, they will be looking to make their picks, and the Edmonton Oilers are set to be one of the teams taking a look at some of the top prospects in the 2018 draft.
The Edmonton Oilers have taken a look ahead to the draft in the past, and they will continue to do so with the 2018 Draft at their disposal.
There is a reason why they have a lot of picks.
It is because they have made the playoffs twice, and it is because the Oilers have had one of their best seasons in years.
The Oilers have won the Stanley Cup three times, and are currently in their third year of contention in the playoffs.
The best thing that the Oilers can do for their future is to make the playoffs, and that is where the picks come from.
The Calgary Flames are the team that has been on the hunt for picks since the draft began in July, and now the Calgary Flames have the top pick of the 2018 NHL draft.
They have the highest overall pick of all the teams in the league, at a pick of 23rd overall.
Calgary will likely go with a defenceman, and if that defenceman is Ryan O’Reilly, it is a lock.
If they take a defence man, it would be to the Boston Bruins at 26th overall, and then pick their defenceman.
The other teams in this draft have the ability to add more draft picks to their board, so the Calgary selection is the most likely of the bunch.
The Montreal Canadiens will pick at 23rd, and will have to take a goalie, as well as two forwards and a defencemen.
The Nashville Predators will pick 22nd overall, with a pick for defencemen and a forward.
This is a strong draft for the Nashville Predators, as the team is set to have a solid roster, and should be able to make a strong run in the NHL this season.
The Anaheim Ducks will pick 20th overall and they are looking to add a defence and a goalie.
The Chicago Blackhawks will pick 24th overall.
The Winnipeg Jets will pick 28th overall with a player to be named later, and Winnipeg is looking to have an even stronger team this season, and a top pick in this years draft.
The Calgary Flames and Nashville Predators are the teams that have the most picks, with the Flames taking the number one pick, and Nashville taking the second.
So, the Edmontonians top pick is going to be a defence, and as of right now, it looks like they will select a goalie at the second round.
It seems like there is a good chance that the Flames pick will be goaltender Ryan Miller, who is coming off of a season where he was named the first star of the NHL after going 5-1 with a 1.38 goals against average and .923 save percentage.
It would be hard to find a more deserving pick than Miller.
Miller has been one of a handful of goaltenders to have his best season to date in 2018.
In fact, Miller was one of only three goaltenders in the top 10 of goals against averages, and was second in save percentage, and third in save wins.
Miller was able to stay healthy, and has done a great job keeping the team afloat this season in a year when it has been in a rebuilding mode.
This season, Miller has been the only goaltender to have been named to the All-Star team, and he is expected to be in the conversation for the Vezina Trophy, the NHL’s top goaltender award.
If Miller does not make the All Star team this year, the Flames could look to add him to the roster this year.
With a goalie selection, the Oilers could add another goalie this year to a solid team.
One thing to keep in mind is that Miller is not the only goalie that Edmonton has in mind, and there are plenty of other potential targets for the Oilers at this point.
For the Flames, there are two other goaltenders that they could potentially add to their roster this season to give them depth at the position.
Nolan Patrick has had a solid season in the AHL, and could be the number two goaltender for the Flames next season.
Patrick is a solid goalie who has proven himself to be able compete at the NHL level, and while he may not have been selected as a top goaltender in the draft by the Calgary Canadiens, he could be a very good player in the future.
Ryan Miller is a goaltender that is highly regarded in the hockey world, and is one of many goalies who have proven to be good in the minors.
When looking at this season for Miller, it should be no surprise that the team was able as a whole to finish the season strong.
The Flames finished with the best record in the Pacific Division, and
